Debug Label

Function Type: Behavioral

Default Option: Automatic.

Description:This rotor function changes the action that takes place when an Activate gesture is used on a List Item. The rotor dials itself to the Actions Function when you activate most List Items. The two most common modes of the Action function are listed below, but other modes can appear depending on the situation.

Available Modes:

Mode. Function.
Activate. This is the default action. The effect varies depending on the type of list. For example; it opens a contact card, email message or text message. It dials a phone number in a list, and starts playing a song or playlist.
Delete. Deletes an item from a list. Some deletes merely remove an item from a list, such as deleting a contact from the favorites list. The contact card is still in your iOS Device. Other deletes are more permanent, such as deleting a text message. Once it's deleted, it's gone.

Adding Functions to the Rotor.

Follow these steps to add the Actions function to the rotor.

  1. Launch the Settings Application from theHome Screen.
  2. Pressthe "General"button, which is located in the Settings main menu.
  3. Press the "Accessibility" options button.
  4. Press the "VoiceOver" options button.
  5. Press the "Rotor" options button.
  6. Locate the Actions function.
  7. As youExploreover each option, Voiceover will say, "Selected," before some, but not others. When Voiceover says "Selected," it means that the option will appear on the Rotor.

If you use theNext and Previous Item gestures you will hear the item first, but if you do another next Item gesture, Voiceover will say, "Reorder," followed by the Item Name. This button allows you to use theDrag Gestureto change the order of the item in the list.

  8. If Voiceover didn't say, "Selected," use theSelect gestureto add the Actions function to the rotor.
